What a software project involves

Business software: ERP, POS and management systems that a company runs on daily. Several of these began as one client's project and were refined across later deployments into products that can be configured in weeks instead of built from nothing — which is why the same system turns up here under more than one name.

• Billing, stock, accounts and reporting built around the compliance the sector actually faces
• Configuration over customisation where a product already fits, so the cost lands nearer weeks than months
• Staff training and go-live support, because the software fails at the counter, not on the server
• GST-compliant invoicing and the registers the business is inspected against
• Continued support past handover, through the first month-end close on the new system
